The collection consists of audio cassettes and transcripts.

The collection consists of recordings of Basotho sung poetry. This oral project was undertaken to record and document the sung poetry of Basotho migrant workers in South Africa. The poetry and interviews with some of the singers were recorded on tape-cassettes and there are transcripts in Sotho and English.
