Includes: 02/05/1960: Letter from "21 European women detainees presently held at the Fort Johannesburg" transcribed on to House of Assembly Cape Town notepaper and addressed to the Minister of Justice, the Right Honourable F.C. Erasmus; amongst other things the letter points out that 7 of the women have husbands also jailed and therefore there are 19 parentless children.
