An account of Matebele mission to Queen Victoria; describes envoys, sent in charge of Maund with Colenbrander as interpreter and how they were received at Windsor by the Queen. Envoys were greatly impressed with kind reception and with all they saw, particularly Life guards, gold goblet, s etc.

Agreement for the reconstruction of the Exploration Co. between Lord Gifford, G. Cawston and C.H. Weatherley on behalf of other members of Exploration Co. and E.A. Maund. Old Co. liquidated and new one set up with Maund being given shares in it and a salary for working for Co. for 3 years. Directors are to be Lord Gifford, G. Cawston and John Oakley Maund, with provision for 2 more directors to be appointed. Attached is schedule with names of shareholders of old Co., no. of shares held by them in old Co. and no. to be held in new Co.
