Part 1

Part 1 of the Franz Auerbach Papers was collected and documented by his wife Noreen Auerbach. They consist of 16 volumes of copies of addresses, letters, articles and reviews from 1950-2006. The Wits School of Education sponsored the compilation of the documented material, the Grand Index of Titles as well as the Full Inventory of Volumes 1-16. The documents were copied and bound by the University of the Witwatersrand.

Part 2

Part 2 relates to Franz Auerbach's involvement and instrumental leadership in "The World Conference on Religion and Peace - South African Chapter (WCRP-SA)". The WCRP-SA was an interfaith based organisation, affiliated to its international umbrella organisation. It was formed in the late 1980's as a vehicle for inter-religious dialoge and struggle for justice. Rev Dr. Gerrie Lubbe was the founding president of the organisation.
