There is various printed matter of legislation, published by the Union and later the Republic of South Africa, relating to the Indian community. Particularly the Group Areas Act of 1950 is well documented in legislation as well as in documents, particularly in terms of the impact it had on the Indian community (See also collection A1485 Group Areas Act).
