Mrs Edith Rheinallt Jones was one of the initiators of the movement, when the Girl Guide movement refused to allow Africans into its ranks. After her death Rheinallt Jones continued his interest in the Movement. (See also D1).
The file contains some extracts from council meetings 1932-1935 as well as correspondence concerning the proposals to fuse Girl Guides and Wayfarer Guides in 1949.
