The typescript was donated by the Director of Archives and Records Management, Mennonite Church, USA in 2014, where it was received from a Mennonite missionary in England who erroneously believed that W. August Schoch was a Mennonite. According to the documentation accompanying the manuscript, the translation was prepared by Ursula Marx, apparently a grandniece of Karl Marx.
