Dr Ivan & Thoms blows out the candle which has been burning for the duration of his 21 day fast at a meeting attended by 5000 people in the Cape Town City Hall today (07/10/85). The meeting was called by the End Conscription Campaign as the culmination of a month long focus "Troops out Now", Calling on the South African government to to withdraw all troops from the country's black townships.
