Correspondence and statements given in dispute between Chief Lekoko and George Mothuba. Lekoko claimed jurisdiction over the whole of the Molopo Native Reserve including Rietfontein. On the other hand the Rapulana Barolong claimed that this land was theirs, and George Mothuba their chief and the Tsidi Barolong under headman Paul Montsioa of Rietfontein had no right to evict them and plough their land.
