Regional Committee (also: Regional Council, General purposes Committee, Executive Committee)

NB. During the period 1962-1986 the Transvaal Regional Committee minutes were combined with those of the National Committee, as Headquarters was in Johannesburg and the same members attended both meetings. From 1973 the committee was called the 'General Purposes Committee'. After 1986 the Transvaal Region had a Regional Council and an Executive Committee, with separate minutes. Headquarters (National Committee) was moved to Cape Town.

National Convention Alliance and Constitution

Includes correspondence on the National Convention Alliance and proposed Bill of Rights, Sash Information sheet on the Transitional Executive Council, submissions by SASH on various aspects of the new Constitution, requests for Sash support by other individuals with constitutional plans for SA, correspondence and press cuttings on proposed legislation, negotiations, human rights and other matters.
