Collection consisting mainly of her personal correspondence with her husband Dan Twala.

Included are manuscripts, correspondence, awards, journals, diaries, notebooks, newspaper clippings, photographs and artwork, as well as working papers from various institutions, and oral history interviews.

The scrapbook with the collection of press cuttings was compiled by Michael Hubbard, following the aftermath of the killing of Rick Turner.

The columns cover various topics about political challenges, events that occurred for each specific time of the month. Some of the columns might consist of spelling and grammar errors as the collection has to be treated as written diaries for authenticity purposes. The book which was published in 2020, is the result of a thesis submitted by Aljoscha Tillmanns to the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, in fulfillment of his PhD at the same University .

The collection contains the personal papers of Alexandre (Alex) Moumbaris, particularly his arrest, trial and imprisonment in South Africa. Also included are related documents covering the various anti-Apartheid movements in France, over and above Alex Moumbaris' records relating to his work for the African National Congress (ANC) and political activism, including the work of his wife Marie-José for BIAA and the ANC and anti-Apartheid movements, as well as documents relating to 'Okhela'.

The collection contains the photographic work of the South African photographer Ernest Cole, some of which culminated in the iconic book "House of Bondage", published in 1967. Also included are his notes, correspondence and research material, as well as his photographic work which he continued in the USA.
