Application for a Rule Nisi by James Howard Pim

To be authorized to pay the balance of subscriptions received from the public for the purpose of providing compensation for natives who were killed and injured during the disturbances on the Witwatersrand in 1922 to the Bantu Mens Social Centre Rule Nisi issued and made final 1923 October 25.

The report was compiled by Major S.M. Pritchard, O.C. of Native Affairs in the Protectorate of Ovamboland in 1915, on a visit paid by him to Ovamboland to notify the chiefs of the military protectorate, obtain labour for the railways and establish the boundaries.
The report is illustrated with photographs of Ovamboland including Tsumeb, Otijwarango, Namutoni, Namakunde, mission stations, scenes of surrendered Germans and Portuguese troops and of chiefs Martin and Mandume.
