The collection contains documents relating to the ordination of women to Priesthood in the Anglican Church. Included are records of correspondence of Ellen Davis with clergy from various churches, as well as a pamphlet on women priests and practical issues.

Goldstone Commission, Boipatong Massacre Records
Records of Goldstone Commission enquiry (1992), an appeal heard in the Supreme Court (1994) and Amnesty Committee records.
Includes some Sebokeng records, 1990-1991.
These papers relate to the events which took place on June 17 1992 at nBoipatong, during which 39 people were murdered, several people injured and property was stolen or destroyed. There were accusations of police involvement in the crime.
The collection comprises 3 sets of documents: the Goldstone Commission of Enquiry (1992), the Appeal Court record with accompanying documents (1993-1994) and the Amnesty applications with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (1999).

The collection contains the organisational records of SECTION 27, and also incorporates the records of the AIDS Law Project and other related organisations such as the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) and the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC).

This collection consists of approximately 368 tape recordings of interviews, conducted in the course of oral research projects, undertaken by the History workshop in the Department of History at the University of the Witwatersrand. They were donated to Historical Papers in 2005.
No background information for most of the projects is available and no audit sheets have been received. A list of interviewees is available with the hardcopy inventory and notes about the collection.
