Transcript of the Diary

A transcript of the Diary was provided by Susan Saloom from Connecticut, USA in 2015. Sarah Anne LeMesurier was her 3rd Great Grand Aunt.
There are gaps in the transcript, as the handwriting proved challenging, particularly in relation to names and geographical places.

Photo Album

The photographs originate from an album compiled by Dorothea Bleek entitled "The Bleek and Wilman expedition up the Molopo River". On this field trip she was joined by Maria Wilman, at the time Director of the McGregor Museum in Kimberley.
Also included are photographs of 'Scotty' Smith and Hester Lennox.
