There is an interesting description of the Port Elizabeth Agricultural Show and of social activities such as skating, moonlight concerts, athletics, Zulu choir and sea-bathing (he had a narrow escape from shark); also describes King Williams Town and Durban. Also a testimonial to his character and industry signed by A. Walsh, Managing Director, B.G. Lennon & Co.
