Lagden's accounts of walk from Cape Coast Castle to Coomassie, Ashantee (typescript). Includes correspondence in 1956-1957 between Miss Lagden and Rita M Cassidy, the latter being responsible for the typescript from the original (this was done because of the illegibility of Mss). Includes press clippings (accounts of his trip) as well as press coverage of the restoration of the Golden Stool and the ancient office of the Ashantehene to the Ashantee people 1935.
