An account of the "Issue of Richard and Sarah Hewitt married 28 April 1789, Son of Robert Hewitt of Rockliff by May his wife" and an account of the "Issue of Henry, son of Richard Hewitt of Islington and his wife Alison Harrison married at Cape Town 26 March 1829", James Alexander being the ninth out of their ten children, born 13 August 1843 at Kloof Cottage. These accounts were given as a gift to Henry Hewitt by his sister 12 July 1837.
